English National Opera:

Having only just moved to the UK, and in order to “get his foot in the door” on the opera scene there, Dominic undertook some comprimario roles at English National Opera in 1998. This platform gave Dominic the opportunity to display his considerable talents at characterisation and comic acting, as well as his crisp enunciation of lyrics, and elegant legato singing, and thereby served its purpose to get Dominic introduced to the opera world in London. This lead to recordings with Opera Rara and Chandos, as well as engagements singing more demanding repertoire in other venues throughout the UK and subsequently Europe, especially France, Denmark and Germany.

His first role at ENO was Tinca in Il Tabarro, and Gherardo in Gianni Schicchi (pictured left with Nuala Willis, Photo:Bill Raftery)
